About the Role
Santa Lucia Pizza is looking for an experienced, motivated, and hands-on *Kitchen Manager* to lead our kitchen team. We are seeking a strong leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is passionate about food quality, and knows how to build a positive team culture while maintaining excellent operational standards.

What You'll Do
* Lead and oversee all daily kitchen operations. * Supervise, coach, and motivate a team of approximately 12?15 kitchen staff. * Ensure all food is prepared consistently and meets our quality standards. * Maintain the highest standards of food safety, cleanliness, and sanitation. * Manage inventory, ordering, receiving, and stock rotation. * Control food costs, waste, and portioning to achieve company targets. * Monitor and manage labour costs through effective scheduling and staffing. * Train, develop, and evaluate kitchen employees. * Foster a positive, respectful, and productive work environment. * Work closely with ownership and management to improve kitchen efficiency and profitability. * Ensure all company policies and health regulations are followed.
What We're Looking For
* Previous experience as a Kitchen Manager, Sous Chef, or in a similar leadership role. * Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team. * Experience controlling food cost, labour cost, and kitchen inventory. * Excellent organizational and time management skills. * Ability to multitask and perform well under pressure. * Strong communication and problem-solving abilities. * Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations. * A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to excellence. * Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
