*GEM Systems Inc.* is currently seeking a hardworking, reliable, and motivated *Shipper/Receiver* to join our team. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, are organized, and are comfortable with physical work, we'd like to hear from you.
*Responsibilities*
* Prepare materials for shipment, including packing orders, preparing airway bills (AWBs), and completing export documentation. * Receive and inspect incoming shipments, unpack materials, and distribute them to the appropriate departments. * Lift, move, and stack boxes and cases weighing up to 50 lbs. * Maintain accurate shipping and receiving records and update databases. * Keep the shipping and receiving area clean, organized, and safe. * Assist other team members as needed. * Follow all company health and safety policies and procedures.
*Qualifications*
* Previous manufacturing, warehouse, or shipping/receiving experience is necessary * Ability to safely lift and move up to 50 lbs throughout the workday. * Comfortable performing repetitive tasks and standing for extended periods. * Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. * Excellent attendance and punctuality. * Reliable transportation to our Markham location. * Must be able to work on-site (this is not a remote position). * We do not need a forklift driver.
