*Duties*
* Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and food items according to established recipes and standards. * Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for order processing and cash handling. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including the coffee station and dining areas. * Engage with customers in a friendly manner, taking their orders accurately and providing recommendations when needed. * Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures. * Handle cash transactions responsibly, ensuring accurate change is given to customers. * Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of coffee beans, syrups, pastries, and other supplies. * Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
*Skills*
* Proficient in using POS systems for order entry and cash handling. * Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with patrons. * Experience in food service or food preparation is preferred. * Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. * Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours. * Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing. * Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining individual responsibilities.
