*About the Company*

Drake Resources Ltd. is a family-owned business focused on the processing of residual wood products within forestry, recycling, and landfill settings. Our primary focus is converting forestry residuals into biofuel and pellet mill feedstock.

We are part of a larger group of companies with approximately 80 full-time employees, headquartered in the Lower Mainland. Our Prince George operation is modest in size but fully supported by a skilled and experienced workforce across the organization. We take pride in supporting the local economy and aim to hire locally whenever possible.

We own and operate a fleet of five horizontal grinders, supported by all necessary equipment and a fleet of highway tractors with walking-floor trailers. While our operations are centered in Prince George and the Lower Mainland, we provide services throughout the province.

Drake Resources is seeking an experienced *Operations Manager* to lead our Prince George operations. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for coordinating field crews, equipment, trucking, and project execution while ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

The successful candidate is a strong communicator and problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can effectively manage multiple priorities, and is committed to building a positive, accountable team culture.

*Responsibilities*

* Lead, supervise, and support field and shop personnel. * Coordinate daily operations, staffing, equipment, and trucking resources. * Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company standards and regulatory requirements. * Conduct regular site visits to monitor safety, quality, productivity, and progress. * Work closely with Project Managers to coordinate schedules, resolve issues, and manage project changes. * Review employee timesheets and oversee daily operational reporting and documentation. * Support onboarding of new employees and coordinate with Human Resources on staffing requirements. * Maintain strong communication with clients, subcontractors, and internal departments. * Prepare estimates and quotations for service work, conduct site assessments, and develop new business opportunities. * Build and maintain strong relationships with customers while identifying opportunities for growth and continuous improvement.

*Qualifications*

* Previous experience supervising crews in forestry, construction, or a related industrial environment. * Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. * Experience coordinating multiple crews, equipment, and subcontractors. * Strong computer skills and experience with operational reporting and documentation. * Valid Class 5 driver's licence (Class 1 is considered an asset).

Pay: $85,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
