*Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented *Pharmacy Assistant* to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting pharmacists in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the efficient day-to-day operation of the pharmacy. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about healthcare and patient service, with an interest in medication administration and medical terminology.
*Responsibilities*
* Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently. * Provide excellent patient care by answering inquiries, providing information about medications, and addressing patient concerns. * Deliver prescription medications to patients in a safe, timely, and professional manner when required. * Maintain accurate records of medication inventory, including ordering and restocking supplies as needed. * Ensure compliance with all pharmacy regulations, policies, and safety standards. * Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to support patient medication needs. * Utilize medical terminology to assist in interpreting prescriptions and medication orders. * Support the pharmacy team with administrative duties, including filing, data entry, and managing patient records.
*Qualifications*
* Previous Canadian experience as a Pharmacy Assistant, Pharmacy Technician, or in a pharmacy/hospital setting is preferred but not required. * Strong understanding of medical terminology related to pharmaceuticals and patient care. * Excellent communication and customer service skills. * Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. * Strong commitment to patient safety and confidentiality. * *Valid Class 5 BC Driver?s License is required* (clean driving record preferred). * Must be available to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends as needed.

Pay: $17.85-$20.00 per hour
