To learn more about Good Shepherd, visit our website at This opportunity is with our Good Shepherd - Women Services - Martha House How You Will Make an Impact The successful candidate will extend our mission to residential and non-residential clients through the provision of respectful and appropriate housing support services. This may include case management, crisis intervention and supportive counseling. The incumbent must be able to work independently in a challenging and rewarding values-based environment.
• Develop and maintain a caseload • Complete an intake and assessment on each resident • Design, implement, in consultation with supervisor, an interview schedule that will provide an evaluation of "quality of life" improvement of successful program participants • Maintain confidentiality with regards to clients/staff and Centre's records • Observe all health and safety rules and work in compliance with the provisions of the occupational Health and Safety Act and its regulations • This is a residential position, tasks such as cleaning, lifting and carrying are involved. What You'll Bring to Our Team
• Post-secondary education in a related field is required • Applicants should possess a thorough knowledge of issues impacting cis women, trans and non-binary individuals including violence, abuse, mental illness, homelessness, poverty and substance use • Experience working in a residential setting is preferred • Demonstrated experience with Intake and Assessment • A demonstrated commitment to the mission values of availability, flexibility, adaptability, hospitality and dignity is essential • C.P.R. certification (or willingness to be certified) • <span style="font-family: arial, helvetica,
