About the Role
We are seeking a reliable, safety-focused, and experienced *DZ Truck Driver* to join our team in Brampton, Ontario. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of materials while providing excellent customer service and maintaining compliance with all provincial and federal transportation regulations.
Key Responsibilities
* Safely operate a DZ-class commercial vehicle throughout Ontario. * Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections. * Load, secure, transport, and unload materials safely. * Complete delivery paperwork and maintain accurate driving logs. * Follow all Ministry of Transportation regulations and company safety policies. * Report any vehicle defects, incidents, or maintenance requirements promptly. * Maintain a professional and courteous attitude with customers and team members. * Keep vehicles clean and in good working condition.
Qualifications
* Valid Ontario *DZ Driver's License*. * Previous commercial truck driving experience required. * Fluent in spoken and written English. * Must be legally authorized to work in Canada. * Must meet our commercial vehicle insurance eligibility requirements. * Clean Driver's Abstract (to be provided before employment). * Proof of current automobile insurance. * Strong knowledge of Ontario road safety regulations. * Excellent communication and time-management skills. * Ability to lift and move materials as required.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with local and regional deliveries. * Strong safety record. * Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
Requirements Before Hire
The successful candidate will be required to provide:
* Valid Ontario DZ Driver's License. * Current Driver's Abstract with a clean driving record. * Proof of personal automobile insurance. * Proof of eligibility to work in Canada. * Any additional documentation required by our commercial vehicle insurance provider.
Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
