We are seeking an enthusiastic, professional, and organized *Dental Receptionist* to join our growing dental practice. This opportunity is ideal for someone who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming experience while ensuring the efficient day-to-day operation of our front office. The successful candidate will be confident managing patient communications, scheduling, insurance coordination, and administrative responsibilities while supporting our clinical team in providing outstanding care.
*Responsibilities*
* Welcome patients warmly and professionally upon arrival and departure. * Answer and manage a busy multi-line telephone system with professionalism and efficiency. * Schedule, confirm, and coordinate patient appointments using dental practice management software such as *Dentrix* (experience with other dental software is considered an asset). * Verify insurance eligibility and process insurance claims accurately. * Collect patient payments, co-payments, and process financial transactions. * Maintain accurate electronic patient records while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with privacy regulations. * Respond to patient inquiries regarding appointments, treatment scheduling, insurance, office policies, and financial arrangements. * Coordinate patient flow with dentists, hygienists, and dental assistants to ensure an efficient and productive schedule. * Complete daily administrative duties including recalls, confirmations, correspondence, filing, scanning, and data entry. * Help maintain a welcoming, organized, and professional reception area. * Deliver exceptional customer service that reflects our commitment to outstanding patient care.
*Qualifications*
The ideal candidate will possess:
* Previous experience working as a *Dental Receptionist*. * Experience using *Dentrix* or other dental practice management software. * Strong knowledge of dental terminology, treatment coordination, and dental insurance procedures. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail. * Ability to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced environment. * Professional appearance with a friendly, positive, and patient-focused attitude. * A dependable work ethic and commitment to working collaboratively with the dental team.
