About this role
The Grand Falls-Windsor Heritage Society is seeking 4 workers for the construction of a wagon display building on our property. These positions are funded through the Job Creation Partnerships (JCP) program.
Term is for 14 weeks with anticipated start date on July 27th, 2026.
Duties: Successful applicants will oversee day-to-day work on site and co-ordinate project activities.
Eligibility: Must be a resident of Newfoundland & Labrador; be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident legally entitled to work in Canada; be approved by the department under Section 25 of the Employment Insurance Act as insured participants who are active EI claimants; have an employment plan that identifies this work experience as supporting a reasonable occupational goal
Qualifications: Experience in construction, carpentry, or related work; ability to supervise staff and co-ordinate work activities; good organizational and communication skills; ability to work independently and as part as a team; knowledge of safe work practices.

Pay: $20.83 per hour
