About this role

_*Duties and Responsibilities*_

* Qualifying and transitioning sales leads * Educate and promote customers about Hardwood Giant Products and Services. * Service existing accounts obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedules to call on existing or potential customers. * Inform existing and potential customers about special offers. * Complete all other duties as assigned by your Sales Manager. * Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual analyses. * Develop new business relationships by following up with regular proactive contact. * Achieve individual sales targets to support overall department and organizational goals. * Clean and Organize store. Lift heavy boxes to ensure proper organization of the store. * Provide accurate, valid, and complete information by using the right methods/tools. * Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts, and file documents * Build sustainable relationships and trust with customers through open and interactive communication. * Ensuring the requirements of each project are successfully executed by the installation team. * Maintaining a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers at all times. * Communicating with customers through various channels * Excellent communication, interpersonal, writing, and documentation skills * great customer service skills that translate to sales * Resolves customer complaints in a timely and professional manner by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management. * Good negotiations and sales skills will help close the sales. * Maintain customer relationships and prospects for future clients. * Potential to earn $80,000 - $100,000 yearly inclusive basepay + commissions

_*Requirements*_

* One to two years of experience working in a sales-driven environment (required). * Previous sales experience within the flooring industry (preferred). * The ability to genuinely listen to customers, formulating a personalized response to their needs. * Excellent written and verbal communication. * Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively * Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets. * Proficient in Microsoft Office * Working knowledge of CRM systems or equivalent. (Preferred) * Required to work a schedule as determined by sales, customer, and business needs. * Open availability to work on the weekends.

_*Working Conditions and Physical Requirements*_

* Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment * Business casual office attire. * Sit, stand, bend, lift occasionally lifting * Ability to listen and speak with employees and customers in person and by phone. * Occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. * View and type on computer screens for invoicing and email communications. * Ability to drive to and from work locations or if scheduled to other locations.
