JOB DUTIES: · Read, interpret and follow basic diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other instructions or procedures to accurately fabricate materials and equipment. • · Assembly for powder coating process, operating spray gun, loading metal pieces onto paint-line hooks, unloading metal pieces after painting, and general shop cleaning. • · Perform chemical balancing to ensure proper mixtures for powder coating. • · Conduct routine maintenance on powder coating equipment and tools. • · Complete verification paperwork accurately and in a timely manner · Practice good housekeeping and safety procedures and adhere to all company policies. REQUIREMENTS: · High School diploma or equivalent. • · Some experience as a powder coat painter. • · Proficiency in powder coating techniques and equipment. • · Knowledge of safety procedures related to painting and coating operations. • · Strong attention to detail and quality. • · Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • · Previous experience in a related field is a plus. • · Physically fit: frequently lift up to 50 lbs., must be able to bend, squat, crawl and climb. Physical / Mental / Environmental: Physical Demands: · Activities: Sitting – 5% Walking/Standing – 95% · Lifting: Frequently lift up to 50 lbs. • · Bending: Must be able to bend, squat, crawl, and climb. • · Vision: Long periods of close work on small fonts and fine print on drawings and ability to see small or detailed items. Mental Demands: · Interpret, analyze, research, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Environment: · Shop/warehouse. Not climate controlled.
