Quality Inn Chatham is a *newly renovated, modern 43-room hotel* known for its cleanliness, comfort, and consistently high standards. As part of the Choice Hotels brand, we are committed to providing a welcoming and spotless environment for every guest. We are currently seeking hardworking, detail-oriented, and dependable *Housekeepers* to join our team.
*Position Summary:*
As a Housekeeper, you play a vital role in ensuring our guest rooms and public areas are clean, sanitized, and well-presented. You will also be responsible for *laundry duties*, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens. This is a hands-on role suited for someone with strong attention to detail and a passion for cleanliness.
*Key Responsibilities:Room & Public Area Cleaning:*
* Clean guest rooms to brand and company standards, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing bathrooms * Restock room supplies such as towels, toiletries, coffee, and other amenities * Clean and maintain public areas including hallways, stairwells, and lobby as needed * Report any maintenance issues, damages, or lost & found items to management * Organize and maintain cleaning supplies and equipment in an orderly manner. * Communicate effectively with clients to understand their specific cleaning needs and preferences. * Manage time efficiently to complete tasks within designated timeframes while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
*Laundry Duties:*
* Collect, sort, wash, dry, and fold all linens including sheets, towels, blankets, and pillowcases * Operate washers and dryers safely and efficiently * Maintain cleanliness and organization in the laundry area * Monitor linen supply and notify management when inventory is low
*Qualifications:*
* Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred, but not required * Ability to lift, bend, and be on your feet for extended periods * Strong attention to detail * Must be reliable, punctual, and able to maintain a positive attitude * Availability to work weekends and holidays as required * Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. * Time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.80-$18.50 per hour
