*What You?ll Do*
As a Skilled Construction Labourer with U Build, you will support our team on a variety of residential and commercial construction projects. Your responsibilities may include:
* Assisting carpenters, site supervisors, and other trades on the job site * Loading, unloading, and moving construction materials * Site preparation, cleanup, and organization * Using hand tools and power tools safely and properly * Measuring, cutting, and assisting with basic building tasks * Helping with framing, demolition, renovations, concrete work, and general construction duties * Following safety procedures and keeping the job site clean and hazard-free * Performing physical labour in a fast-paced construction environment * Taking direction and completing tasks efficiently and accurately
*What We?re Looking For*
The right candidate is hardworking, dependable, and willing to jump in wherever needed. You should be comfortable working outdoors, lifting materials, and being part of a busy construction team.
*Preferred qualifications:*
* Previous construction or skilled labour experience * Ability to safely use basic hand tools and power tools * Strong work ethic and positive attitude * Reliable transportation to and from job sites * Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physically demanding work * Willingness to learn and take direction * Ability to work well independently and as part of a team * Safety-conscious mindset * Valid driver?s licence considered an asset
