Our Company is looking for a Afternoon Dispatch position for trucking operations.
*This Dispatcher's responsibilities will include:*
* To act as a communication point for logistic needs that will require them to receive requests, answer calls and track vehicles * Providing dispatch assistance for shipments by email and phone, including booking, entering, and tracing loads * Custom Clearence for shipments * Collaborate with management to modify daily routes to accommodate the needs of customers * Dispatch Board management * Dealing with any customer questions or concerns in a professional manner * Need to ensure customer relations are maintained at all times * Dispatch personnel according to written schedules and work orders, or as required by emergency situations * Update customers on the status of their deliveries including any delays that occur
*Requirements*
* Experience in Trucking dispatch /operations * Good communication skills (verbal and written) * Able to communicate with drivers to ensure smooth delivery of freight in a timely manner. * Able to work in a team environment under high pressure situations * Need to be able to prioritize workload * Must be able to multi-task as well take appropriate action with little supervision * Knowledge of Microsoft Office and good typing skills. * Strong analytical, organization and problem solving skills
