Job Overview We are seeking a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Dental Receptionist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for patients, managing appointments, patient records, and administrative tasks with professionalism and efficiency. This role is essential in ensuring a smooth patient experience and supporting the overall operations of our dental office.

Responsibilities

* Greet patients warmly and professionally upon arrival, creating a welcoming environment. * Manage multi-line phone systems to schedule appointments, answer inquiries, and confirm patient visits. * Maintain accurate electronic medical records using systems such as Cleardent/ Tracker. * Verify patient insurance information and process billing using dental office management software. * Assist with check-in and check-out procedures, including collecting payments and updating patient information. * Coordinate with dental staff to ensure timely appointment scheduling and patient flow. * Handle administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing correspondence. * Ensure the front desk area remains organized, clean, and professional at all times. * Assist with patient education regarding treatment plans and post-treatment care instructions.

Requirements

* Prior experience as a Dental Receptionist preferred. * Proficiency with dental management software such as Cleardent, experience with electronic medical records is a plus. * Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry. * Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. * Ability to manage multi-line phone systems efficiently while maintaining professionalism. * Office experience with administrative responsibilities including scheduling, billing, and data entry. * Familiarity with front desk operations in a dental or medical setting. * Ability to handle sensitive patient information with confidentiality. * Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. * Previous experience working with dental or medical office equipment is advantageous.

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
