Ritestart is looked for an experienced and dedicated Construction Superintendent who doesn't just build structures - you build trust and a committed workforce!
You are the BOOTS-TO-THE GROUND Leader managing the jobsite, knowing who is who, where they are scheduled to work where and what tasks they are going to complete that day.
You are an organizer of people, materials, and the project schedule, with a dedicated focus and commitment to ensuring everyone works safely and that all quality standards are met.
*We are Ritestart Limited - a company that is *_*PASSIONATE ABOUT CONSTRUCTION*_ *(and our people) and we're looking for an experienced Construction Superintendent who has worked at least five (5) years in ICI construction on new builds and renovations.*
*What You Will Do:*
* Coordinate subtrades, schedules, and daily operations of the jobsite. * Read and understand construction drawings and project specifications. * Understand subtrade contracts and hold them accountable to complete their work meeting all quality standards, on time, and without delay. * Champion Ritestart's safety program and quality standards. * Update and maintain a 2-week look ahead schedule. * Maintain daily logs, with photos, and all project related administration. * Attend meetings with stakeholders, subtrades, and Ritestart personnel. * Other Site Superintendent duties as required and assigned.
*Who Are You?*
* You are an experienced and dedicated Construction Site Superintendent who has a minimum of five (5) years experience in ICI construction (renovations and new builds). * You know how to read construction blueprints and drawings. * You read through project specifications to ensure that everyone builds what the client is paying for. * You read through subcontractors scopes of work and can hold the subs accountable to do the work they are being paid to do. * You take full responsibility for safety of the project. * You know how to problem-solve in real-time. * You can keep a project on schedule and within budget. * You know how to communicate professionally with all business stakeholders. * You can use a computer to write and check emails, update a schedule, review drawings, and update daily logs. * You are flexible in your management style, because let's face it, it's construction... no day will ever be the same.
*Bonus Points If You:*
* Have a diploma or degree in Construction Technology or Management. * If you are calm under pressure. * Like tight deadlines and know how to navigate through them. * You bring solutions and ideas to the table. * Are a Gold Seal Certified Superintendent.
