*The Role:* We are seeking a hardworking and mechanically inclined *Printing Press Helper* to assist our Lead Press Operators. You will play a vital role in setting up, maintaining, and cleaning our printing machinery to ensure flawless production runs.*Key Responsibilities:*
* *Machine Set-Up:* Assist the operator in loading paper/substrates into the press feeder and changing over print jobs. * *Ink & Materials:* Fill ink fountains, control color consistency, and organize inks for scheduled runs. * *Quality Control:* Monitor print runs for smudges, misregistration, and color accuracy. * *Press Maintenance:* Safely clean and wash up the press, blankets, and coating chambers after production shifts. * *Material Handling:* Move raw materials and finished products throughout the plant using manual or powered equipment (e.g., pallet jacks).
*Qualifications:*
* Previous experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or industrial printing environment is highly preferred. * Mechanically inclined with the ability to troubleshoot minor mechanical issues. * Physically fit and capable of standing for long periods and lifting/moving up to 50 lbs. * Basic computer skills and a keen eye for color and detail. * Forklift certification or First Aid training is a plus. * Flexibility to work rotating shifts (days, afternoons, nights) or overtime when required is a must.
