We are seeking a reliable and experienced 5 Ton Truck Driver to join our team. *Responsibilities*
* Safely operate a 5-ton truck for local and regional deliveries, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. * Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or manual handling techniques. * Assist with moving goods within warehouses or loading docks, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage. * Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and customers to coordinate delivery schedules and address any issues promptly. * Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs for each trip. * Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure safety and compliance. * Provide excellent customer service by representing the company professionally during deliveries. * Follow all safety protocols related to heavy lifting, moving, and operating warehouse equipment.
*Experience*
* Previous experience in commercial driving, warehouse operations, or logistics is preferred. * Familiarity with forklift operation is a plus but not mandatory; training can be provided. * Experience with heavy lifting and moving materials efficiently in a warehouse setting is desirable. * Strong communication skills for coordinating with team members and customers. * Ability to handle physical tasks such as heavy lifting safely and effectively. * Valid commercial driver?s license (CDL) with a clean driving record is required. * Prior experience working in fast-paced environments involving moving goods or warehouse activities is advantageous.
