*Overview* We are seeking a friendly and efficient *Barista* to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the food and beverage industry, possess excellent customer service skills, and be capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. *Responsibilities*
* Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other drinks according to established recipes and customer preferences. * Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for accurate order processing and cash handling. * Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and addressing inquiries promptly. * Handle food preparation tasks such as assembling food items and maintaining food safety standards. * Manage cashiering duties including processing payments accurately using POS systems and giving correct change. * Maintain cleanliness of the work area, equipment, and dining space to ensure health and safety compliance. * Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies as needed. * Follow food safety protocols including proper food handling and sanitation procedures. * Demonstrate effective time management to serve customers efficiently during busy periods.
*Qualifications*
* Previous barista experience or background in the food industry is required. * Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor. * Basic math skills for cash handling and register operations. * Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus. * Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. * Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. * Excellent time management skills to ensure timely service during peak hours. * Serving experience is advantageous but not required; willingness to learn is essential. Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
