Infinity Drug Stores operates a group of independent community pharmacies in the Windsor, Ontario area. We are currently looking for a part time Pharmacist for our locations.
*Responsibilities:*
- Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently
- Provide medication counseling to patients, ensuring they understand proper usage, potential side effects, and any necessary precautions
- Ensure all privacy requirements are met, including customer confidentiality and consent management
- Monitor patient medication therapy for effectiveness and safety
- Ensure accuracy and appropriateness of all prescriptions dispensed
- Stay informed about new medications, drug interactions, and pharmaceutical regulations
*Experience, Skills & Qualifications:*
- Bachelor of Science (Pharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm. D.) degree from an accredited pharmacy program
- Licensed and in good standing with the Ontario College of Pharmacists
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceuticals, drug interactions, and dosage requirements
- Experience with Pharmaclick Rx (Propel) an asset
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Independent thinking and decision making when dealing with issues or problems
- Excellent customer service skills and strong sense of professionalism
- Excellent leadership, organization, research, evaluation, time management, communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in dispensing medications
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Complete mandatory training and voluntary continuing education workshops, as needed.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $60.00 per hour
