About this role
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Administrative Support professional to assist our team with day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and capable of handling administrative tasks with professionalism, discretion, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide direct administrative support to various team members * Prepare and manage documents using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint * Assist with departmental communications and internal coordination * Maintain filing systems, both electronic and paper * Track project timelines and follow up on outstanding tasks * Support with reports, spreadsheets, and presentation materials * Handle confidential information with discretion * Some data entry may be required
Qualifications:
* Proven experience in administrative or office support roles * Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) * Excellent organizational and communication skills * Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and work independently * Discretion and integrity when handling sensitive information
Preferred Skills:
* Experience supporting executives or department heads * Familiarity with cloud-based tools (e.g., SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive) * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills * High level of organization and attention to detail
Pay: From $19.00 per hour
Ability to commute/relocate: * Mississauga, ON L5L 1X2: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
