DM Henderson Roofing is hiring a skilled *Shingler* to join our team in *Dawson Creek*! We are looking for a reliable professional who takes pride in quality craftsmanship from start to finish.*Job Details*
* *Job Type:* Full-time, Permanent * *Salary:* $30.00 per hour * *Location:* Dawson Creek, BC * *Schedule:* Day shift, Monday to Friday (with weather-dependent weekend work)
*What You Will Do*
* *Tear-offs:* Strip off old shingles, underlayment, and staples cleanly and efficiently. * *Prep surfaces:* Inspect wood decks, change out damaged sheathing, and install new underlayment. * *Install roofs *Shingles and all necessary flashing * *Clean up:* Keep the job site clean and clear of dangerous debris like stray nails and old materials.
*What We Are Looking For*
* *Experience:* Professional roofing or shingling experience is preferred. * *Physical stamina:* Ability to tear off heavy old roofing, lift new bundles up to 50 lbs, and work outdoors. * *Comfort with heights:* Confident working on steep slopes and high roofs. * *Transport:* A valid driver's license and a reliable way to get to job sites in the Dawson Creek area.
