Overview We are seeking a dedicated Roofer/Laborer to join our company. This role involves working on residential roofing projects, working as a team and assisting crew members where needed, and ensuring the successful completion of roofing installations and repairs. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, reliable, and eager to learn new skills in the roofing industry, understanding how the roofing trade works.
Duties
* installing asphalt shingles quick and efficiently and with proper installation * Use hand tools such as nailers, hammers, drills, and saws to cut, shape, and install roofing materials * Perform heavy lifting of materials like shingles, plywood, and metal panels safely and efficiently * Apply tar and sealants to ensure waterproofing and weatherproofing of roofs * Assist with carpentry tasks related to roof framing and structural support * Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and debris removal * Follow safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents or injuries
Skills
* A drivers license, work truck will be provided. * Strong work ethic with attention to safety standards and detail-oriented approach
