Role Description:
? Design end-to-end solutions within the Communications Cloud, ensuring alignment with B2C telecommunications business objectives.
? Architect complex product configuration, pricing rules, and quoting flows using Salesforce OmniStudio.
? Design order capture, decomposition, and orchestration flows, managing fallout handling and tracking.
? Architect seamless data flow and APIs between Salesforce and middleware platforms (e.g., MuleSoft) and external payment gateways.
? Lead design workshops, oversee technical delivery teams, and conduct solution/code reviews to maintain architectural integrity and scalability.
? Customize the CPQ platform using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura, Visualforce, and JavaScript.
? Integrate CPQ with external systems (ERP, billing, inventory) via REST/SOAP APIs.
? Develop custom automation using Apex classes, triggers, batch jobs, asynchronous processes, and flows.
? Optimize performance and ensure compliance with Salesforce best practices and governor limits.
? Gather and translate complex requirements from business teams into technical solutions.
? Create and maintain technical documentation, including process flows, design specifications, and coding standards.
? Assess the current implementation landscape and implement performance improvement measures.
Essential Skills:
? Deep understanding of the telecommunications or communications service provider (CSP) industry.
? 15+ years of Salesforce development/architect experience with a strong focus on CPQ in Vlocity Managed Package or Communications Cloud on Core and Revenue Cloud.
? Expertise in Apex, LWC, Aura Components, Visualforce, JavaScript, SOQL, SOSL, and CPQ pricing engine.
? In-depth experience configuring CPQ in Vlocity, including product rules, pricing rules, discounting, approval workflows, and quote templates.
? Solid understanding of Salesforce data modeling, security, profiles, roles, and permission sets.
? Experience integrating with external platforms using REST and SOAP APIs.
? Familiarity with declarative automation tools such as Flows and Process Builder.
? Exposure to Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
? Strong problem-solving and stakeholder collaboration abilities.
