*Key Responsibilities*
* Provide comprehensive dental hygiene care including assessments, scaling and root planing, polishing, fluoride treatments, and sealants. * Perform periodontal assessments and accurately document findings. * Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures * Take digital radiographs in accordance with practice protocols. * Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques, preventive care, and recommended treatment plans. * Build strong relationships with patients to support long-term oral health and continuity of care. * Maintain strict infection prevention and control standards (IPAC compliance). * Collaborate closely with dentists and the clinical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. * Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using practice management software(Dentrix). * Ensure treatment rooms remain clean, organized, and fully prepared for each appointment. * Contribute to a welcoming, supportive, and positive patient experience at every visit.
*Qualifications*
* Registered Dental Hygienist in good standing with the *College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario (CDHO)*.. * Current CPR/BLS certification. * Strong knowledge of periodontal therapy and preventive dental care. * Experience taking digital radiographs. * Familiarity with dental softwares such as Dentrix. * Excellent communication and patient education skills. * Strong attention to detail and commitment to infection control standards. * Friendly, compassionate, and team-oriented attitude with the ability to build rapport with patients.
*Experience*
* Previous experience as a Dental Hygienist is preferred, with familiarity in dental office procedures and patient care standards * Knowledge of Dentrix or similar dental management software is highly desirable * Experience working with pediatric patients or orthodontic cases is a plus * Bilingual skills are advantageous for serving diverse patient populations * Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively using medical terminology * Prior experience in a busy dental office setting will be considered an asset

Pay: $40.00-$50.00 per hour
