*Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physiotherapy Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting physiotherapists in delivering high-quality patient care. This position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology and the ability to work effectively with patients to help them achieve their rehabilitation goals.
*Duties*
* Prepares clients for their physiotherapy appointment by welcoming them and bringing them to their designated treatment space. * Answering phone calls to book patients * Handling payments and Direct billing to insurance companies * Assist physiotherapists with the preparation/application/removal of hot and cold packs, removal of electrical modalities * Ensure the physiotherapy clinic and equipment are always kept clean * Maintain clinic and equipment tidiness/appearance * Laundry
*Requirements*
* Experience with Jane App EMR is a bonus! * Previous experience working in a physiotherapy clinic as a Physiotherapy Aide preferred but not required * Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality * Strong ability to interact with other healthcare professionals, the clinical staff and the public is essential
