*Job Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our growing dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality preventive dental care, educating patients on oral health, and supporting the overall patient experience. The position requires a licensed Dental Hygienist with strong clinical skills and excellent communication abilities.
*Responsibilities*
* Perform dental cleanings, including scaling, prophy, alginate impressions * Take dental radiographs as needed * Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies * Assist the dentist during recall examinations * Maintain accurate patient records * Provide patient comfort and reassurance throughout treatment sessions * Support the dental team with administrative tasks related to patient care, including scheduling appointments and updating medical histories * Stay current with advancements in dental hygiene techniques and industry best practices * Knowledge of IPAC and sterilizing instruments * Knowledge of infection control and day end room disinfection.
*Requirements*
* Valid state licensure as a Dental Hygienist * Experience with Logitech/Paradigm and Carestream dental office management software is preferred * Previous experience in a dental office setting, including dental assisting or hygiene roles, is preferred * Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to dentistry * Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages * Ability to work well within a team-oriented environment and maintain professionalism at all times * Hrs Mondays 12noon -8pm, alternating Wednesdays 11am-5pm and one Saturday per month 10am-5pm

Pay: $50.00-$58.00 per hour
