This includes: health promotion and protection, disease and injury prevention, provision of supportive, instructive, treatment and emergency services; collaboration with and referral to other health care professionals; initiating and participating in community development initiatives and participating in evaluative projects. The Primary Health Care Nurse RN (NP) reports to a Manager of Primary Health Care. Incumbent is self-directed and requires minimal supervision.
