We are seeking a skilled AZ Truck Driver to join our team, operating between Toronto and Montreal. *Responsibilities*
* Safely operate commercial trucks along designated routes between Toronto and Montreal, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations * Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment as necessary, ensuring secure handling of goods * Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to identify any mechanical issues or safety concerns * Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and other required logs * Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting when necessary to ensure vehicle reliability * Coordinate with dispatchers and warehouse personnel for timely pickups and deliveries * Comply with all company policies, safety standards, and transportation regulations throughout each shift
*Experience*
* Valid AZ Commercial Driver?s License with clean driving record * Proven experience in freight transportation over long distances, preferably between Toronto and Montreal * Knowledge of forklift operation and heavy equipment handling is highly desirable * Familiarity with automotive repair basics is a plus * Experience in commercial driving, including adherence to Hours of Service regulations and safety protocols * Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently in various environments
