Join Glass Grow Farms as a Greenhouse Worker in Ontario to contribute to our mission of sustainable agriculture. This role is vital in supporting our greenhouse operations and plant care initiatives. *Responsibilities*
* Assist with irrigation setup and maintenance to ensure optimal watering of plants. * Support horticultural activities including planting, pruning, and harvesting. * Operate hand tools and basic mechanical equipment safely and efficiently. * Perform heavy lifting tasks related to plant containers and materials. * Maintain cleanliness and organization within the greenhouse environment. * Monitor plant health and report any issues to the supervisor. * Follow safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment. * Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals. * Prior experience or knowledge in horticulture or gardening is preferred. * Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting. * Basic math skills for measurements and record-keeping. * Mechanical aptitude or familiarity with tools is advantageous. * Strong attention to detail and ability to work as part of a team. * Willingness to learn about irrigation systems and plant care techniques. * Reliable, punctual, and committed to safety standards.
