You have experience in leading improvement initiatives and working with multidisciplinary teams; measuring outcomes and evaluating the effectiveness of quality initiatives and programs; and in providing education, support and advice related to quality and patient safety. You have strong proficiency level in Microsoft Office applications; strong systems thinking and problem-solving skills; ability to identify workflow inefficiencies and usability challenges; excellent communication, facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills; proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g. Excel, PowerBI); ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment; commitment to person-centered care, safety and equity.Bachelor's Degree in a healthcare related field.Additional education or training in human factors, systems design, or related fields is an asset.Certification in quality improvement or patient safety (e.g. Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt, CPHQ, CPSI) is an asset.Knowledge of healthcare standards (e.g. Accreditation Canada, CPSI, ISMP).Travel is required, so a valid driver's license and reliable transportation is needed.Experience leading improvement initiatives and working with multidisciplinary teams; measuring outcomes and evaluating the effectiveness of quality initiatives and programs; and in providing education, support and advice related to quality and patient safety.Experience applying systems thinking and/pr human factors principles in healthcare settings is an asset.What you will doQuality Improvement & System Performance Lead and support quality improvement initiatives using established methodologies (e.g., PDSA, Lean), ensuring sustainable solutions which are data-informed, practical, reliable, person-centered, and safe. Analyze performance data and frontline workflows to identify system-level trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement. Partner with clinical teams to design, test, and implement changes that simplify processes. Patient Safety & System Learning Promote a culture of patient safety grounded in systems thinking and continuous learning. Participate in patient safety reviews (e.g., RCA, FMEA) to identify workflow, environmental, and human contributing factors.
