About this role
*Job Summary* We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to add to our logistics team and help oversee/optimize our supply chain operations. This role involves coordinating procurement, and order fulfillment processes to ensure seamless product flow. The ideal candidate will have strong data analysis skills and experience with air freight and/or ocean freight logistics management. *Duties*
* Coordinate transportation logistics with air and ocean freight forwarders * Completing the necessary logistics documentation - bookings, health certificates, bills of lading etc. * Oversee procurement processes, sourcing, and pricing strategies to optimize supply chain costs. * Support order fulfillment, packaging, and order processing activities within ERP software. * Implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency across warehousing and logistics functions. * Maintain accurate documentation related to procurement, shipping & receiving, and inventory levels. * Assist with other internal administrative duties / documentation - tracking sheets, reporting etc. * Assist with external food related audits - SQA, CFIA etc.
*Skills*
* Ability to manage freight logistics, 3PL relationships, and sourcing strategies effectively. * Proficiency in demand planning, pricing strategies, and order fulfillment procedures. * Knowledge of supply chain management, logistics documentation and processes * Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. This role is integral to maintaining the efficiency of our supply chain operations while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through effective logistics management. * Experience with SOS Inventory and/or QBO. * Experience with external food related audits - SQA, CFIA - as well as managing the collection of needed documentation for the audits. * Excel/Outlook
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
