*Summary*
Join our team as a Vegetable Farm Worker in our greenhouse located in Canada. This role is vital in ensuring the quality and timely production of vegetable transplants, supporting our mission to provide top-quality plants to farmers nationwide.
*Responsibilities*
* Plant, cultivate and irrigate crops * Clean work area * Report signs of insect or disease damage * Transplant seedlings or rooted cuttings * Assist in grafting activities * Perform general labouring duties * May operate machinery and do other farm duties as trained and required
*Work conditions and physical capabilities*
* Fast-paced environment * Repetitive tasks * Physically demanding * Standing for extended periods * Bending, crouching, kneeling * Combination of sitting, standing, walking
*Education*
* No Degree, certificate or diploma required
*Qualifications*
* Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting up to 50lbs. * Reliable, motivated, and eager to learn. * No experience needed * Willing to Train
