London & Middlesex Community Housing (LMCH) is seeking a passionate and hardworking *Controller. *The Controller plays a key role in ensuring the organization maintains accurate, timely, and compliant financial information to support effective decision-making and organizational sustainability. Reporting to the Director of Finance and Corporate Services, this position oversees financial operations, maintains strong internal controls, and ensures compliance with applicable regulations, accounting standards, and organizational policies.
As a leader within the Finance team, the Controller provides direction and support to a team of finance professionals, promoting accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. The role is responsible for coordinating the timely completion of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial processes while supporting budgeting, reporting, audit activities, and other finance initiatives across the organization.
The ideal candidate is a collaborative and results-oriented finance professional with strong communication, decision-making, problem-solving, financial management, and systems control skills. They are able to build effective relationships, lead teams successfully, and deliver high-quality financial information that supports operational and strategic goals while ensuring responsible stewardship of organizational resources.

*1. OVERVIEW *
Reporting to the Director of Finance & Corporate Services, the Controller is responsible for providing leadership and oversight of LMCH?s financial operations, accounting, reporting, and internal control environment.
The Controller provides leadership and oversight of LMCH's finance operations, including accounting and financial reporting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, financial close, audit coordination, financial systems administration, and financial controls. The role is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial information, maintaining compliance and governance standards, and supporting continuous improvement across the Finance function.
*Leadership:*
· The Controller will provide leadership and oversight, builds and manages a high-performance finance team through effective leadership, coaching, and mentorship.
