*Overview *
Daybar Industries is currently seeking a skilled *Industrial Painter ? Wet System* to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will prepare and apply high-quality wet paint finishes to metal products using industrial spray equipment while ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and production standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare metal surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, masking, and priming. * Mix paints, primers, hardeners, and coatings according to manufacturer specifications. * Apply industrial wet paint coatings using spray equipment. * Inspect painted products to ensure proper finish, color, coverage, and quality. * Perform touch-ups and rework as required. * Operate and maintain spray guns, pressure pots, pumps, and related painting equipment. * Maintain paint inventory and ensure proper storage and handling of materials. * Keep spray booths, equipment, and work areas clean and organized. * Follow production schedules while meeting quality and efficiency targets. * Adhere to all workplace health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Qualifications
* Minimum *2 years of experience* as an industrial wet system painter in a manufacturing environment. * Experience painting metal products is required. * Knowledge of industrial coatings, primers, epoxies, polyurethanes, and other wet paint systems. * Ability to read work orders, specifications, and paint instructions. * Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality finishes. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Experience in metal fabrication or manufacturing.
