Avi's Physical Therapy is seeking a Registered Physiotherapist to join our growing, multidisciplinary team at our Grande Prairie clinic. We offer a unique compensation structure ? choose a *competitive salary (up to $130,000/year)* or a *percentage split based on experience.*
Position Responsibilities
* Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans * Provide hands-on manual therapy, exercise prescription, and patient education * Deliver a range of treatments including therapeutic exercise, manipulations, electrotherapy modalities, and hydrotherapy * Assist in treating patients with back and neck pain, sciatica, headaches, joint pain, soft tissue injuries, and stress-related conditions * Collaborate closely with RMTs and other team members to co-manage cases and support integrated treatment plans * Communicate with referring physicians and healthcare professionals regarding patient progress and needs * Educate patients on posture, stretching, injury prevention, and wellness strategies * Develop and support health promotion and community outreach initiatives * Maintain accurate and timely SOAP notes and clinical documentation * Ensure treatment rooms meet professional cleanliness and safety standards
Qualifications
* Master's degree in Physiotherapy (MPT) from a Canadian university, OR an equivalent international degree assessed as comparable by the Canadian Alliance of Physiotherapy Regulators (CAPR) * Registered and in good standing (or eligible for registration) with the College of Physiotherapists of Alberta * Strong clinical reasoning and assessment skills * Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities * Ability to work both independently and as part of a team * Willingness to travel occasionally to our Spirit River location * Experience in a multidisciplinary clinic setting is an asset (new graduates welcome to apply) * CPR certification preferred * Language of work: English
