*Duties*
* Provide outstanding customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly manner. * Engage with customers to understand their needs and recommend suitable products. * Upsell products and services to enhance the customer experience and increase sales. * Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties. * Maintain an organized and visually appealing sales floor by restocking merchandise and ensuring displays are well-maintained. * Utilize technology effectively to assist customers with product inquiries and demonstrations. * Manage time efficiently to ensure all tasks are completed within store hours. * Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when responding to customer inquiries via phone.
*Experience*
* 5+ years experience in the retail business in Canada- suitable for retired persons who still want to get out of the house for a few hours of work per week * Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.. * Excellent verbal communication skills in English are essential for effective interaction with customers. * Ability to chat properly with customers over a wide range of subjects is essential for the position * A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work as part of a team are crucial for success in this role.
