*Job Summary*
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Manager to lead our team and oversee daily operations within our retail environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, exceptional organizational abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of retail management. This role involves supervising staff, managing sales strategies, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining operational efficiency to drive business growth and customer satisfaction.
*Responsibilities*
* Lead and supervise store staff, including recruiting, training, and developing team members to ensure high performance and engagement * Oversee daily store operations, including merchandising, pricing, inventory management, and store presentation * Manage sales activities to meet or exceed targets through effective sales management and marketing strategies * Handle customer service issues promptly and professionally to maintain excellent customer relations * Oversee cash handling, cashiering duties, and POS transactions with accuracy and integrity * Develop and implement marketing initiatives to attract new customers and retain existing ones * Manage budgeting, purchasing, and bookkeeping tasks to ensure financial health of the store * Conduct interviews and participate in hiring processes for new staff members * Monitor employee performance through regular evaluations and provide coaching for improvement * Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and operational procedures * Organize staff schedules to optimize coverage during peak hours while maintaining work-life balance
*Qualifications*
* Proven experience in retail management or store supervision with demonstrated leadership capabilities * Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment * Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus * Proficiency in POS systems, cash handling, bookkeeping, and basic math skills * Knowledge of merchandising, pricing strategies, sales management, and marketing principles * Experience with recruiting, interviewing, training & development of staff, as well as supervising teams * Ability to manage budgets, payroll processing, purchasing decisions, and administrative tasks efficiently * Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service excellence * Time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively * Familiarity with store management software or administrative tools is preferred
