*Responsibilities*
* Assist the dentist during various procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available. * Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. * Manage patient records using dental software such as Tracker, ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date. * Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the treatment area, adhering to infection control protocols. * Schedule appointments and manage the front desk duties when required, including answering phones and greeting patients. * Support pediatric and orthodontic procedures as necessary, demonstrating patience and understanding with younger patients. * Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient workflow and optimal patient experience.
*Requirements*
* Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role is preferred. * Proficiency in dental software applications such as Tracker is highly desirable. * Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry. * Experience with pediatric and orthodontic dentistry is a plus. * Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. * Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients and team members. * Certification in Dental Assisting training is preferred * Harp Certified
