*Overview* We are seeking a skilled Registered Dental Technician to join our dental laboratory team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating high-quality dental prosthetics and restorations, ensuring precision and adherence to patient specifications. This role offers an opportunity to work in a collaborative environment with a focus on craftsmanship and patient care. Prior experience in dental laboratories or related fields is preferred, along with familiarity with dental terminology and CAD technology.
*Responsibilities*
* Fabricate dental prosthetics such as crowns, bridges, dentures, and implants based on detailed prescriptions and specifications * Utilize CAD software to design and modify dental restorations with precision * Prepare models, wax-ups, and molds for casting or 3D printing processes * Collaborate with dentists and lab staff to ensure accurate communication of patient needs * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laboratory workspace * Follow safety protocols and quality standards throughout the fabrication process * Assist in the selection of appropriate materials for various dental restorations
*Skills*
* Proficiency in CAD software relevant to dental design and fabrication * Prior experience working in a dental office or laboratory setting is highly desirable * Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry * Laboratory experience with hands-on fabrication techniques * Knowledge of dental assisting procedures is a plus but not required * Attention to detail and excellent manual dexterity * Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
