We are seeking a friendly and efficient Food Counter Attendant to join our team. *Duties*
* Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS. * Prepare and assemble food items according to established standards and safety guidelines. * Operate cash registers, handle cash transactions, and process payments efficiently. * Upsell menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales. * Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the counter area, utensils, and equipment in compliance with food safety standards. * Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining quality service. * Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts. * Assist with food preparation tasks as required, supporting kitchen staff when necessary. * Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed at all times to maintain hygiene standards. * Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions or concerns professionally and courteously.
*Qualifications*
* Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment is preferred but not required. * Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus. * Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively. * Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately. * Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail. * Understanding of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures. * Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours. * Kitchen or food industry experience is advantageous but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential. * Friendly attitude with a focus on providing a positive dining experience for all customers.
Pay: $18.50-$21.00 per hour
