We are expanding our teams in Peterborough, Downtown Toronto, and North York to meet growing patient demand.Open Roles We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will provide professional massage services to clients, promoting relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being. This role requires excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach to ensure a positive experience for every client. The Massage Therapist will work in a serene environment dedicated to health and relaxation, helping clients achieve their wellness goals through expert massage techniques.
*Responsibilities*
* Perform professional massage therapy sessions tailored to individual client needs, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, or other modalities. * Assess clients? physical condition and discuss their health concerns to determine appropriate treatment plans. * Maintain a clean and sanitized workspace in accordance with health and safety standards. * Educate clients on post-treatment care and recommend future sessions or wellness practices. * Keep detailed records of treatments provided and client progress. * Ensure excellent customer service by creating a welcoming environment and addressing client questions or concerns professionally. * Stay updated on industry best practices and participate in ongoing professional development.
*Requirements*
* Valid massage therapy license or certification as required by state regulations. * Knowledge of medical terminology related to anatomy, physiology, and massage therapy techniques. * Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients. * Excellent communication skills to explain treatment procedures and address client needs clearly. * Ability to maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and a caring attitude at all times. * Prior experience in massage therapy is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided if necessary. * Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends if needed, to accommodate client schedules.
Pay: $50.00-$80.00 per hour
