Job Summary
Canton Express is looking for a reliable and motivated Cook to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals, maintaining food safety standards, and working efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen.
Responsibilities
* Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards. * Prepare ingredients before service. * Maintain a clean and organized workstation. * Follow food safety and sanitation procedures. * Monitor food quality and consistency. * Assist with inventory and stock rotation (FIFO). * Work as part of a team during busy service periods. * Help with opening and closing kitchen duties.
Requirements
* Previous restaurant or kitchen experience required. * Experience with Chinese cuisine is an asset. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. * Good communication and teamwork skills. * Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn. * Food Handler Certification is required.
Pay: From $17.60 per hour
