*AIRCRAFT STRUCTURAL TECHNICIANS / MECHANICS*
*Primary Responsibilities*
* Shear, form, and fabricate, parts and components to drawing specifications. * Drill, ream, countersink, and dimple holes for fastener installation. * Assemble parts, components and sub-assemblies, using special jigs and fixtures.
*Qualifications and Experience*
* Graduation from an accredited post secondary aviation training institution. * Possession of a BC or Interprovincial journeyman designation as an Aircraft Structural Technician an asset * Aircraft sheet metal or assembly experience considered an asset. * Must be proficient in the interpretation of mechanical drawings and aircraft assembly procedures. * Must be proficient in the English language. * Attention to detail, and an enjoyment of precise work a must.
*Working Conditions*
* Unionized environment * Some areas have rotating shifts. Must be available to work mornings, afternoons, evenings
