About this role
By following the established person-centered programs, provides support to Participants in a manner that maximized their potential and quality of life. Some duties include: Plan and implement programs within the Day Program and community, Discuss and plan activities with the Participants when developing and planning programming, teach and promote independence and choice, plan and carry out community-based programming on a one-to-one or small group basis in and around the community, provide physical and personal support to Participants as necessary, deal effectively with Participants' behaviours. Previous experience working with people with developmental disabilities and related training an asset. A valid driver's license is required, A satisfactory Vulnerable Sector check is a condition of employment.
