Zacharias McCann LLP is a full-service law firm servicing clients throughout Alberta and BC and with offices in Edmonton, the Fraser Valley, Victoria, and West Vancouver. We are looking to hire a full-time receptionist for our Chilliwack location.

We invite individuals with a minimum of 3 years' experience in an administrative role who are looking for continued learning and growth to apply with their resume and cover letter.

Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

* Interacting with clients with a friendly and professional demeanor. * Managing main firm switchboard with high call volume. * Maintaining organization in reception and front desk area * Handling incoming and outgoing mail and packages. * Arranging for courier pick-up and drop offs. * Assisting with various administrative tasks, including scanning, data entry, and filing. * Maintaining boardroom bookings and assist with set-up and take down for meetings. * Communicating with other administrative staff and lawyers. * Completing bank runs, courthouse filings, and other errands daily as a back up and only if required. * Maintaining staff lounge. * Managing supply orders.

The ideal candidate will have the following qualities and skills:

* High school diploma or equivalent. * Prior experience in reception or administrative roles is desirable. * Proficient in office software, including Microsoft Office Suite. * Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. * Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. * Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality. * Proactive and professional approach to handling inquiries and requests. * High degrees of punctuality and personal responsibility. * Ability to work independently * Reliable transportation.

Benefit package is offered upon successful completion of probationary period.

Pay: $39,000.00-$53,000.00 per year
