We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated I.T. Administrator to join our Managed Services team in Halifax, Nova ScotiaThis is an exciting opportunity to become part of a growing, high-performing team that is committed to service excellence and passionate about delivering meaningful solutions for our clients. Position OverviewThe I.T. Administrator plays a key role in supporting and maintaining client IT environments across server, network, and cloud platforms. This role acts as an escalation point for front-line support while ensuring systems are secure, reliable, and performing optimally. The successful candidate will bring strong technical expertise, excellent customer service skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.What You Will Do:Provide exceptional customer service by taking ownership of monitoring alerts and reported end-user issueContact customers upon ticket reception to validate issue priority, schedule service, and provide ongoing updatesAccurately document, categorize, and update all incidents and service requests within the ticketing systemServe as an escalation point for front-line technical support, providing guidance and assistanceTroubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network connectivity issuesPerform server administration including Active Directory, Group Policy, RDS, patching, ESX, Hyper-V, DHCP, DNS, and backupsAdminister and support network infrastructure including firewalls, routing, switching, and performance troubleshooting What You Need to Succeed:Three (3) or more years of experience in back-office or Service Desk supportPost-secondary education in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experienceStrong understanding of operating systems, business applications, printing systems, and network environmentsProven diagnostic and troubleshooting skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skills with strong interpersonal abilitiesAbility to work professionally in a fast-paced environmentDetail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skillsCustomer-focused, patient, approachable, and adaptableWhat We Offer You:Comprehensive health and dental benefits RRSP contribution matching 3 weeks paid vacation annuallyProfessional development and training opportunitiesIf you are interested in joining our winning team and have what it takes to be successful in a dynamic industry, we want to hear from you by July 24th, 2026!
