*Job Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Caretaker to oversee the maintenance and cleanliness of our facilities. The ideal candidate will ensure that the environment remains safe, clean, and well-maintained, supporting the overall functionality of the premises. This role is vital in creating a welcoming and professional atmosphere for staff, clients, and visitors.
*Duties*
* Perform regular cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal to maintain cleanliness standards. * Conduct routine commercial cleaning to ensure all areas meet health and safety regulations. * Carry out facilities maintenance activities such as minor repairs, equipment upkeep, and ensuring safety protocols are followed. * Monitor the condition of the property, identifying areas needing repair or attention. * Assist with setup and breakdown for events or meetings as needed. * Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and maintenance tools, ordering replacements when necessary. * Ensure all work complies with health and safety standards to provide a secure environment for all occupants.
*Skills*
* Proven experience in cleaning, especially commercial cleaning environments. * Strong knowledge of facilities maintenance procedures and best practices. * Ability to perform basic repairs and troubleshoot maintenance issues efficiently. * Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail. * Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks that may involve lifting, bending, or standing for extended periods. * Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and report issues effectively. * Reliable work ethic with a proactive approach to maintaining facility standards.
