Responsibilities: -Under the direction of a senior employee, Mine Utility Person duties such as:o Work on the Rig floor of a drilling rig for the operation of tripping pipeo Assist the Rig Driller to assemble and disassemble the drill rigo Assist the Driller to reposition the drill rigo Monitoring and Operating Centrifuges for solids separationo Monitoring Drill Rig Mud Pumps and performing Daily Checkso Service and Monitor Solid Separation systems.o Other site duties and tasks as required-Conduct all duties required in a safe and efficient manner-Successfully complete training in the following areas: confined space entry, fall protection, lockout, WHMIS, radiation-Actively participate in weekly safety huddles Skills and Qualifications:-Residents of Saskatchewans North (RSN) applicants will be given preference-Possess Grade 12 or equivalent-Must have total three years experience working on a drilling rig and have held the position of Motorman or Derrick hand-Some mechanical aptitude is required to understand some equipment operation, for example, pumps, valves, filters, agitators, etc.-Experience with centrifuges, shaker systems, mud pumps, boilers and pipe handlers-Valid Class 5 or Class 5 Northern Restricted drivers license is required-Must have good communication skills-Must be dependable and have the ability to work independently Work Location & Schedule: -McClean Lake Site-14 days in and 14 days out rotating schedule-Normally an 11 hour work day, although some activity outside or normal working hours may be required-This position is physically demanding-May be required to lift moderately heavy objects (up to 50 pounds)-Ability to work rotating shifts (days and nights)
