*Location*: Maeford Place Assisted Living *Address:* 574 Kinchant St., Quesnel, BC V2J 2R8 *Position Details: * Temporary, Part - Time *Schedule:* 1630-2030, every Friday and Saturday *Compensation:* $29.62 per hour

*Position Overview: *We are seeking a compassionate, skilled, registered Health Care Aide (HCA) to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will provide hands-on support to residents, promote their well-being, and ensure a safe and nurturing environment.

*Responsibilities:*

* Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming. * Support residents with mobility and transfers to ensure their safety and comfort. * Monitor and document residents? health status, reporting any changes to nursing staff. * Foster positive relationships with residents and their families, promoting a person-centered approach to care. * Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans. * Ensure compliance with facility policies and BC health regulations.

*Qualifications:*

* Certification as a Health Care Aide in British Columbia (Registration with BC Care Aide & Community Health Worker Registry) * Valid Food Safety certificate * Valid CPR or First Aide certificate * Previous experience in long-term care or a related field preferred. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. * A compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.

Pay: From $29.62 per hour
